02Installation and use
- Download ikithefox-pet.zip and extract pet.json and spritesheet.webp into the same pet folder.
- Windows: %USERPROFILE%\.codex\pets\ikithefox\
- macOS: ~/.codex/pets/ikithefox/
- In a version of Codex that supports pets, refresh and select IKITheFox. Do not place the files inside an extra nested folder.
- Before updating, back up the previous version, then replace both files and refresh.
03Compatibility and notes
This is an asset pack for a version of Codex that supports pets, not a standalone desktop app. It uses spriteVersionNumber 2 and does not change the app’s frame rate or task-state logic.
